More birthday surprises!! I just love my birthday week!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me

Today is my birthday!! Gary sang the birthday song to me this morning. I thought he was silly :) And then I got chicken necks and bunny for breakfast. I didn't realize I would get bunny and I was waiting on Mom to fix my food and I got a whiff of it. YUM! I got all excited and tried to eat it right out of the container.

Mom and I played this morning and then when she tried to get her shower, I stole her towel. Then I took her comb. As long as I steal her stuff, she can't get ready and can't go to work.

When Mom finally left for work she gave me special birthday cookies and then sprinkled other cookies all around my kennel so I would find them all day long. I sort of spoiled her surprise though as I was eating them as she was sprinkling them :)

Healing Edge

Mom worked on me a lot tonight. She did a lot of zebbing and energy work on me and it took a long time for me to feel better, but it really helped. She also gave me some homeopathics that made me feel better. After all her hard work I slept really well and felt great when I got up!

Class tonight

I had fun at class tonight, but I still didn't feel good. I did good for about 40 minutes and then I was tired and hurt. We worked on our jumping and I did a great job with that. Then we played dumbbell games. Mom would drop the dumbbell and then I had to do recalls without retrieving it. She has no confidence in me, she said I wouldn't be able to do it. Well, I showed her, I did great on every challenge and only retrieved it when she sent me out to do it. We also worked on corners and Mom got in trouble cause she goes slow and makes me lag. She has to go normal speed around the corners and trust me!! We worked on a lot of distraction exercises and I did a very good job. I couldn't wait to get home to rest though.

MORE BIRTHDAY

Mom came home and said, let's go check the porch! Mom went on the front porch and I stood inside and waited on her (can't go through the door without permission!) She came in with some envelopes. She opened them and it was a birthday card FOR ME!! It was from Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma dropped it off for me. And it had money. I grabbed it and took off :) Now Mom and I really have to go shopping.

There was also a gift certificate to Panera for Mom. That was from me. Grandma helped me get it. Maybe this weekend we can go to Panera for breakfast and then go shopping. Sounds like a good plan.

Special Delivery for ME!!

I am so glad Mom worked from home today as I got a special delivery. Just like pizza delivery - right to my door!!! How do I sign up for more food to my door deliveries!?!?!

I just LOVE my birthday week, I wish it could be "birthday week" every day.

And now I have to pose with the open box. I love all the pictures, but I would really like to have a bone now! I am begging, please Mom, give me one of them.

I love work from home day

It is so nice when Mom can work from home! We share breakfast and I can nap under her desk. I usually get a nice bone to keep me busy too! Then we can play at lunch and share lunch too! Then I take an afternoon nap all stretched out beside mom. We also share good snacks! What a great way to spend our day.

I got mail... again!

I like getting mail, I could get used to this. My mommy Stormey sent me a gift certificate for my birthday. It was so nice that she thought of me to send it. Now I get to go shopping. Hopefully Mom will take me soon so I can buy good things.

Healing (the other kind!)

Mom has been working really hard to help me heal! She has been putting her back on track fabric on my groin when she doesn't put my coat on me. And then I have the zeb AND traumeel gel.

School play

Mom and I went the school to run this morning - woohoo!! And those silly geese were chicken today, they hid on the football field where we could not get to them. I guess I showed them! But Mom really wanted more videos of me herding them.

Then we played on the rock climbing wall and I kinda hurt my back.


See this little hole at the bottom, I tried to dive through it and hit my back on the thing hanging down. It stung a little but didn't stop me from running.

Mom worked on my back when we got back to the van and found the ouchy. I'm sure she will work on me some more once we get home.

I still had a good time as we got to run for a long time and even go over to the baseball field this time. We have never walked over to it before so it was fun to go somewhere new.

Fun night

Mom did not feel well today so we didn't get to do very much. She went for a neck massage to see if it would help and I went with her. Then we came home and took a nap. I really do not like naps very much but I will sleep with Mom when she doesn't feel good.

I did wake her up at dinner time though. I was really hungry and we did have to eat. She fixed my dinner - venison!! - YUM!! and then had her dinner.

She was feeling better so we went outside to play. We had soo much fun. I got to run and hunt and then we did obedience. We did an entire heeling pattern and I did great. And then we did our figure 8 and stand. Mom was really proud of how well I did. Then we did some agility and then she played with me in the hunting area. We were outside playing for an hour. And then we came in and ate popcorn.

Hopefully we can go run at the school tomorrow. I really like going there and Sunday is the only day we can go.

Clean kennel

Mom and Gary pulled everything out of my kennel today to clean it and give me more room. Mom vacuumed it and got out the cleaner and paper towels to wipe down the floor. She left the paper towels outside the kennel and I was sneaky and stole them. Next thing she knew, here were her paper towels

Look at this face, does it really look like the face that did that mess?? I don't think so.


But then again, she had evidence so I couldn't deny it for long.

And here is my kennel, all nice and clean!

Mom's helper

I like to help Mom with all the work around the house. Tonight I helped her change the sheets. I held them down for her :)

I LOVE STEAK!!

Mom and Gary brought leftovers home from the steak house. I was SOOO excited they were sharing with me. Mom thought it was cute to video my wiggly butt.

The geese were hiding

We thought the geese were not at the school, but as we walked behind the other school, there they were. They were hiding from us. There were not as many as usual, but I got rid of them!!

Fun Morning at the School

Mom and I went to the school for our morning run today. We were all prepared for those darned geese and they were not there. They must have known I was on the way. We had a lot of fun, well, other than Mom making me pose with the sunflower. I am not sure why she thinks it is fun to pose with flowers???

I let her know that I was ready to RUN not pose. So she finally accepted this picture and we were off to run. I ran out to the rocks to see who else had been there before me. Luckily Mom did not make me pose on the rocks again but just took a picture of me checking them out.

I have to admit that this is a good picture of me - On a mission!! Glad Mom was paying attention to get this picture!

We ran for quite awhile and had a lot of fun. Although Mom got after me for finding the mud and walking through it. I'm not sure why it was such a big deal as the grass was wet and would wipe all the mud off. AND.. we walked on the sidewalk which also helped remove the gunk from my feet.

As you can tell, Mom takes pictures of everything!! It is such a nice day when she forgets her camera :)

Fun Class

Mom and I went to my new obedience class and it was so much fun. We did retrieving and go outs and long recalls and silly down stays :) Our retrieving was fun as we would rotate leaving and sending and run toward one another and both dumbbells would be out there and I had to get mine and leave the other one. Then we did recalls passing each other and some really fun distance backing and downs. Mom said that I was not doing well on my Figure 8s. hmmm, guess what, it was her that was not doing well :) She had to change some of her footwork and then I did better!

I can't wait until next week as this is such a FUN class!!!

Gary's birthday

Tomorrow is Gary's birthday and Mom helped me get him a card. He has really been complaining about his golf game so I found a card that will make him feel good! It says "Hey, Dad, Want to get a hole in one on your birthday?" And when you open it, there is a green with a hole and says: Instructions: Drop golf ball through here. So I am giving him a hole in one for his birthday to make him happy!!! And I got him a gift card for his morning coffee and another one for Subway so he can get good sandwiches for us for lunch!

I can't wait until he opens it!!!

A great holiday

Mom and I had so much fun today. We started our day out with Panera breakfast with Gary and then we went out for a run. It was so nice outside and I ran and ran and ran. I really did not want to go inside, but Mom said I had to.

Then we went to play at the building. Mom took all kinds of good treats and we did agility, heeling, gloves, retrieves, broad jump, figure 8s and all kinds of fun things. We really worked on left turns and "get it in" and I became a pro :) (Mom said that!) And then I got the zoomies and ran around the building doing tunnels and jumps and zigging and zagging and had Mom really laughing. It was so much fun.

After we were done and had everything loaded I asked to take a walk. Whenever we go there for trials, we always take a long walk around the entire place and that is what I wanted to do. So Mom let me. We jogged a little and then walked and it was so much fun. I really didn't want to get back in the van, but Mom insisted. I slept all the way home.

Mom had to work when we got home so she gave me a great marrow bone to chew. She knows how to entertain me when she has work to do, and that is fine with me! I really enjoyed it!

Then Gary came home from golfing and brought home food for a cookout!! What a great Holiday, I think I want another one tomorrow!

SUSHI!

Gary brought home sushi for lunch! YUM!! I am glad he finally shared with me. Mom was making fun of all my drool while I watched him eat.

Another morning run

This morning Mom and I went to the school to run. It is so much fun to go there as most of the time, we are the only ones there. I got to "herd" geese again too, I am so good at it and it is fun!! Mom took a video of me herding. I am multi talented, I can hunt and herd!! I got rid of ALL the geese!! Mom is going to send in my application to "Go Geese Go" so I can earn a paycheck.

Morning hunt

REALLY Mom - I can run now!!??!!


Mom and I went out really early this morning before it was too hot. I got to run and play and hunt - FINALLY!!! I was so happy to be back to normal running.

I got mail!

I could not believe it when Mom handed me mail and said it was for me!! That is exciting to get my own mail. Mom's friend Jenny and my new friend Oliver sent this really cute tag to me. And how much they know me, I definitely like to chase squirrels. Especially the ones that throw things at me from our trees.
