Quit working and take me outside!

Finally, a work from home day... but too much work and not enough play.  I even took Mom's shoes to her to give her *another* hint.  I think it should be a rule that we take a break every hour to go outside and play.

Gary brought home dinner and I asked to trade my ball for the food.  It didn't really work the way I planned but I did get to share :)

Fun Walk

Mom and I started our day with a nice walk in the park.  It is so nice that we can just walk to the park so I can RUN.  There is no better way to start your day than RUNNING!!  I am lucky that Mom lets me run off leash as we usually get there before anyone else.

Tracking

Another fun walk in the park.  I love our park!!!  There is always something to track and explore.  It is even better in the Weimaraner Weather :)

Weimaraner Weather!!

It is so nice outside, I love this "Weimaraner Weather" as mom calls it.  I get all excited and it gives me energy and the zoomies.  You can see how happy I am.  I cannot wait to enjoy it even more in the bird field.

Mom's birthday!

Today is Mom's birthday and I got her a cute card and a nice gift.  Gary helped me and put it in the kitchen for me.  Then I went and got Mom and told her to come with me.  She had no idea where I was taking her, but I took her to the kitchen and showed her!   She was just as excited at how smart I am as she was about her gift :)    To celebrate her birthday we are going to our fun workshop tonight!   We are both excited.

Look What Mom Found

Mom was so excited that she found this rug for me.  She had to take a double take as it was hanging in the window of a Westerville store.  She said it was made just for me!!!   It is now proudly displayed in front of my kennel.

Fun Day of Obedience

Mom and I went to an obedience match today and had a lot of fun.  I remember the building as I was there when I was a baby.  We had a lot of fun, we got to play in the ring and take long walks in the field.  Then we did something really fun and went in the ring, ate cookies and left the ring.  Then we did it again and again and again.  That is my kind of day.  I got to run and jump and retrieve and all the things I really enjoy.  I hope we can go back there again soon!!

Gary's birthday

Gary's birthday is today and Mom helped me pick out a really nice Life Is Good shirt for him.  Mom wrapped it and gave it to me to take to him.  I was so excited to give him the gift.  I strutted into the office and poked him and showed him what I had.  He really liked his shirt and thought I was really cute!

New Horse Friend

Mom and I went for massages today and we had to wait awhile so we took a walk. There were horses in the field by the house and one was really watching me. We walked over to her and she leaned her head way down to see me.  I was worried at first, but Mom patted her and I saw it was okay.  I reached up and our noses touched!  Then I tried to kiss her as I thought she was really cute.  She was talking to me and running up and down the fence trying to get me to play with her.  She followed us along the fence line the entire time we were out there.  When it was time for our massage, she was sad and watched me go into the building.  

I wish Mom would have had her camera, but it was in the house with my cookies and her purse!  For once, I wish she could have taken pictures!!!

New "outside" bed

Mom is always trying to get me to lie down on the deck.  I just do not understand it and always go in the house or out in the yard to play.  She even brings my mats out on the deck for me and I just look at her like she is silly.  Well, now she is REALLY silly and she bought me an "outside" bed.  Really??  A bed just to use outside??  We don't sleep outside?  Well, she MADE me get on it for a picture.  I could not wait until she let me get up as I think it is a silly idea.

Ready for Football Saturday

Qs and blues

Mom and I went to play agility this weekend and it was so much fun.  I had to be big and brave as the aisles were very cramped and I had to walk through rows of cages, but I did it!!  We took walks, a horse came to see me at the fence, and I chased birds.  I wanted to go back to see the horse again, but he was in the barn and didn't see me.  

You notice Mom made me pose on the new "outside bed!"   That was probably the down side of the trial, this is where she found the outside bed!

Back to school prep

We go back to school this week, so we baked cookies and filled our freezer!  I love cookie making day and I am a GOOD helper!!

Playing with a stick is fun!

I found a really cool stick to play with.  It is so much fun to roll around and kick your feet in the air while playing with a stick.  So much fun that Mom took pictures of me!!

Ring Practice

Mom and I set up a ring and practiced going in the ring and setting up.  It was a lot of fun!!  This is me IN my ring smiling!

Acupuncture

I go see Dr. Karen every month for acupuncture.  Mom says it helps my belly, bladder, and all my ouchies.  I just think it feels good!  I love to go see Dr. Karen!

Frog Legs!

Gary had a great big surprise for me tonight at dinner - Frog legs!!!  He really likes to cook fun things on the grill to share with me.  Frog legs are the best!!!   I am drooling like a faucet, well, at least that is what Mom said.  We had leftovers and Mom used them for training treats.  I hope we can have frog legs again soon.  They are G O O D !!!!!

My pine trees

I sure hope that Mom and Gary do not get rid of my trees.  I love playing in my pine trees and Mom can even get good pictures of me.  Gary keeps telling me that he is going to have someone come and take them away.  Please don't... it is like my playground.

BIG stick!

I found a big stick in our yard today and had fun playing with it.  I played keep away from Mom, I ran around with it, I threw it in the air and then I chewed it!!  

Gary thinks he is funny

Gary thinks it is funny to bury me in blankets.  I really didn't care because I was tired!!  Mom and I had a big day and I was ready for bed!!

Edge saves the day again

I really do not know what Mom would do without my help.  We went for our walk in the park this morning to enjoy the "Weimaraner Weather" and I got to run off leash as there were not many people there.  We were on the path through the trees and Mom is listening to her music and I look back and see bikes coming up behind us.  I always have to get by Mom and sit when bikes are coming, but Mom didn't see them.  Uh-oh, now what??!!   So I look at Mom and look at the bikes and look at Mom and look at the bikes, I initiated the LAT game and it worked!!!   Mom is trained.  She apologized to me and the bike riders and we did our sit at the "edge" (haha) and the bikes went by.

Mom's view

With our new park, Mom and I take walks all the time.  We either go early in the morning or later at night.  There is a nice path through the woods and it is always so much fun.  Mom takes water for us, so I always let her know when I am ready to stop for a drink.  This is Mom's view for most of our walk :)

 

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

I found a walnut and rolled around in the cool grass and played with it for a long time.  As usual, I made Mom laugh and she took a lot of pictures of me just rolling around having fun.
