CRAZINESS!!

but so much fun! Mom and I have had it... we have not been able to go anywhere to run, play, walk, train. So tonight we got ready, headed to the park and took a walk in the rain and wind. We just planned on getting wet and enjoyed our time outside. Then we played under the pavilion. We were the only ones on the path or under the pavilion, like we were surprised.

Then we went to Home Depot and played outside while people and cars were all around. We got wet in the rain, but we had a lot of fun and met some new friends.

Sloshing around

Mom let me go out back again tonight to run, but OMG it was a workout running in all the water. Then I chased a bird and made a sharp corner and about fell down when I slid. You should have seen my tracks in the yard (SHHH! don't tell Gary!) Mom made fun of me as I was walking funny.


When we were in the hunting area, I swear I saw that bunny watching me. I will get him yet, I now have my own bunny to give me practice!



We had a lot of fun outside, but I really do not like all the clean up time before going in the house. But I guess it is worth it to be able to run.

Toys are Great Pillows!

After my big day, I took a nap on my toys. It is amazing how you can use toys for pillows. I had such a fun Easter!

OUTSIDE!!

I finally convinced Mom to take me outside to run. It has been raining all week and it is really wet and muddy, but it did stop raining today. I REALLY need to go run and check out my back yard for bunnies. We went out 2 times!! We ran and played recall games and practiced some rally. And then the sun came out, WOW!, that was exciting.

I sure hope the rain stops as I really miss playing in my backyard. And I really do not like the "pat down" with the towels before going back in the house.

Grandma and Grandpa visit

What a great day.... Mom and Gary left for lunch and bring Grandma and Grandpa home with them. I was so excited, I was wiggly all over!!! I have not seen them for a long time and it was so great to have them at my house. I talked and talked to them and Grandma gave me cookies from my Easter Basket. They brought me some really great Easter stuff too. Wow, two Easter baskets today AND a visit from Grandma and Grandpa!!

There were even cookies in the bottom NOT in plastic! I dug all the way to bottom to make sure I got all of them!!!

Easter weekend

It is another Holiday weekend and Mom keeps telling me she has special things planned. I can't wait, but right now I want my breakfast!!!

What a day

It was so exciting this morning as Mom said she was going to work from home. Then she couldn't get her laptop to connect so she told me she would have to go to work. I was really bummed, I was looking forward to spending the day with Mom and getting snacks all day. My pouting must have worked as her laptop finally connected and she said she could stay home - woohoo!

Then I got my great marrow bone. I know Mom just gives it to me to keep me busy so she can work, but I guess that is okay as I REALLY like my marrow bones. So it is good for both of us.

It was pouring rain most of the morning and then quit for a few hours, so we went to the park on lunch hour. Their path is not muddy, so Mom thought it would be a good place to walk. So we park, get out and start walking. We are the only ones in the park, not ever another vehicle!! Mom lets me off leash and we get half way around the path and KABOOM!! Thunder and Lightning, I took off to Mom and she even jumped! There was no warning - and then pouring rain. Mom took off to the van and I just stood there looking at her - I wanted to take a walk!!! She made me go with her and we compromised by going to the pavilion to play. So it was not too bad, we just didn't get to run. We played fun games for awhile, luckily Mom brought training treats.

Lunch!

Gary brought home some GOOOOD lunch - Sushi! And he shared with me. I could not wait on each bite, it is so good!!! Can you see my drool???

Tired

and it is only morning....


Mom and I went out for a big run this morning in the wind. I ran and played and air scented and had a blast! Then Mom had some computer work to do so I climbed in her chair with her and fell asleep. Gary thought he was being sneaky taking pictures of me.

Fun Day

Even with all the rain and wind, Mom and I had a fun day. We were able to go romp in the mud this morning before Mom had to leave. I got to run and play and have lots of fun with all the great smells.


I stayed with Gary for a few hours and we had fun. He took me back out to play for awhile and then I helped him make tuna salad. I had to make sure he made it just right! Then he gave me a rub!! He gives good rubs!

When Mom got home we went back outside to play games. We had so much fun, I would run and touch and jump and do the teeter and jumps and and and.... it was just fun!! When we went back to the critter patch I thought for sure one went under the fence. I was trying to find him!

Then Mom was laughing at me because the wind was so strong it was blowing my ears all around.


We finally had to go inside as it started raining really hard. I sure hope we get to play more games tonight, even if we have to play inside!

What a great day!

It has been such a great day!! We started out with going into the backyard to run this morning. We couldn't really play too much as the ground was really wet and Mom didn't want me to fall. But we worked on some of our games and I just got to play. Then Mom cleaned the yard so I got to visit with my new neighbors.

After Mom got some stuff done we headed to the park. We played fun games and I got some really good cookies!! Mom saved her leftovers from Panera and Cane's so I got good roast beef and Cane's chicken. Those were definitely jackpots! Then we took a walk and I got to run around the path without a leash.

When I cooled down we went out back and practiced agility. Wow, a fun packed day even before dinner time! We play the "Edge" game and it is fun. I go see my neighbors or play in my critter field and Mom says "Edge" and as soon as I look at her I get rewarded and then I run for cookies. What an easy way to get good food. I did get really warm though, so Mom made me go in and get ice and then I crashed in front of my fan.

And now we are getting ready for a cookout!! All I need are some quail and it would be the perfect day :) It is still early....

Seminar Day

Mom and I went to a seminar today. It was okay but pretty boring. The best part was meeting all the new friends. As always, I got a lot of attention because everyone thinks I am so handsome. And I got to hang out by a cute little chocolate lab girl, her daddy told me to teach her good things while we were waiting. I got to play a little bit and take a few walks, but nothing very exciting.

The best part of my day was after dinner. Mom, Gary and I went out in my backyard to run and play. And then Mom and I played some agility. We had to go in because it was dark, but I had a good time while we were playing!

No Class tonight

Mom had to work late so we didn't make it to class. I hope she takes me out to run before the rain starts. I really need to go do something! We did have a cookout, just hamburgers, but it was still good. Great follow up to a cookout is running in the backyard :)

Fun at the park

We went to the park tonight to work on our recaller games. We played for awhile and it was really difficult for me as there were a lot of distractions. There were little boys and girls, dogs, bikes, and I had to pay attention. I worked really hard!! Mom was very proud of me for doing so well.

Then we used the picnic table to do some agility stuff. That was fun too and broke up all the focus stuff. I volunteered my 2o/2o on the table and scared mom at first!





When we got home, we went out in the back yard and I ran really fast. It is so nice outside and I liked playing in my yard with mom!

What a great day!

Mom has a vacation day today because we have workers coming to the house. She had to get some things done this morning, so she gave me a great big marrow bone to chew on. I LOVE my marrow bones!



Then we went to the park and walked around the path. We were the only ones there, so Mom let me run (no leash required!) and that was a lot of fun. I went up on the soccer field and thought I wasn't supposed to, but when Mom told me it was okay, I took off running really fast.

Then we played some of our recaller games. OMG, we had sooo much fun. I would run one way and Mom would call me and I would run back to her. Then we played another game and we played in every room of the house. I thought it was funny when we went up and played a training game upstairs. It was a really easy game for me, but still lots of fun.

I did have to go to my cage when the workers came, but it was okay as Mom gave me a yogurt bone and then she came and sat with me and she read while I ate my bone. I really wanted to be out of the cage, but I was good and just enjoyed my bone.

After the workers left and Mom put the house back together, we went to Alum Creek. It was really wet, but we still had fun. We were the only ones there and I ran and ran and ran. We worked on our recaller games too and I did a great job. We walked (well, I ran, mom walked) both directions since no one else was there. Mom had to wipe me down before I could get back in the van as I was covered in water and mud. Luckily she wore her wind pants over her other pants so she could take those off too. We were pretty muddy, but that was okay.

What a fabulous day we have had and it is only afternoon. I am going to take a nap and hope she has more fun stuff planned for tonight!!

Rain, Rain, Go away

I am so bored, it has been raining all day and we cannot go out to play. I sure hope it stops soon so I can go run and play!!!
