Brave Bunny

There is a baby bunny staying in my kennel run, I think he is very brave, or very silly. I am going to get him! I have been on a bunny hunt for the last day. Mom opens the door and I s n e a k out the door looking that direction so I can pounce when I see him.

RELEASED!!

Woohoo! I saw Dr. Karen tonight and I have been released to normal activity. Well, I have to gradually get back into things. Hmm, that is Mom's job (good luck with that Mom :) It has been a long month with limited activity and no runs at Alum Creek, no jumping and no playing agility.

I told Mom I want to start NOW - let's go play!!!

FUN! day from start to finish

We started our day out with chicken necks for breakfast, Panera bagel and then a run in the back yard. Gary came with us too - woohoo!!! We played a lot today and I spent time with Gary when Mom ran errands. Mom and Gary took me out again to play with bubbles when Mom got home. Although I really do not see what is so exciting about bubbles. They were all excited and had the camera and I just didn't understand all the excitement.

We went back inside and I had a great massage. I was all relaxed on my bed and Mom massaged all my muscles and did my stretching.

Then we had a cookout!! Now that is exciting, where was the camera for the cookout?? I did jumps and spins and twirls and tried to get Gary when I found out what he was doing.

After everyone's dinner settled, Mom and I went out front to train. We are moving our "show on the road" and training in the front yard. She thinks I am doing a great job too. There are so many more distractions out there, but I get to go see them after I do my work.

What a great day...

A Great day!

We had so much FUN today. We played outside almost all day. We practiced several times today and Mom even timed me on some things and I think I did great (and she was surprised :) Then we went out front and practiced too. I thought that was fun as I never go in the front yard. We would practice and then I would get to go play and sniff and then practice some more. That was a fun game!

After dinner, Mom thought she would let me go run and she would read. HUH?? I don't think it works that way, she is supposed to play with me, not read??!! I kept going to get her to show her what I was doing. Then I stole her water glass and played with it.

Our morning hunt

Woohoo!! It is nice out again today, what an exciting day already!!! When I got out of bed, Gary took me outside and we sat out on the deck. What a great way to start our day. Then after breakfast we all went out on the deck again and I ran around and chased birds.

Then Mom took me out back to play and hunt. We had a nice morning run and hunt! We played and ran and looked for critters!


I think it is going to be a GREAT day!!!!

No Class tonight

We didn't have rally class tonight, so we played in our backyard when Mom got home from work. It was really nice outside and we had a lot of fun. Then Mom decided we should go to the park and take a walk. There were a lot of kids there practicing soccer and I met two little girls on the path. I didn't get to run very much since there were kids everywhere, but we did walk for quite awhile.

Chicken Neck Store

Mom and I went to the chicken neck store tonight. We went to class and then she said we had one more place to go and SURPRISE! they are delivering 40# of chicken necks right to my van. Woohoo!! can't get better than that. Then we came home and cleaned and bagged them so I can have my chicken necks for breakfast. I also helped bag, so I got to taste some of them too!

New Rainy Day Toy

I think Mom feels bad that we are stuck inside -AGAIN! She bought me this really cool floppy toy. It has all kinds of strings and ropes and even a ball and handle. It is fun to shake and toss and chase and we even played retrieve with it. I am so glad that Mom knows how to cheer me up. We played more games tonight - fun games!! with beef heart rewards.


oh, yea, she also bought this cute little purple rubbery dog. We both thought it would be fun as I like little toys for our games. But I smelled it and then started to pick it up and it smelled and tasted BAD! Mom didn't realize right away and she told me to bring it. I picked it up very carefully by the foot between my teeth. I thought if my tongue and lips did not touch it, it may not be so bad. I really do not like that toy!! Then Mom laughed at me, I guess I looked funny carrying the toy by the leg with just my teeth. She can take it back and get me something else.

Fun Game Night

Wow - so much fun!! Mom and I had a lot of fun playing games tonight. We would play a 3 minute game and take a break, and then another game and take a break. I never knew when we would start or what we would do. We played with the dumbbell, fun hand touches, down game, pivots game, and I don't even remember all of them. We did this for 2 hours and it was sooo much fun. Mom was laughing at me as I eventually ended up on the couch and she said I was snoring!!! I think game night should be every night.

Icky Day

After so much fun outside yesterday, now we are locked up inside. We went out once to play, but it was rainy, muddy, and cold. Mom was afraid I would slip and hurt my hip so I have to stay inside. Why does it have to rain on our "day off?" I have got lots of rubs and we have done lots of good indoor play, and Mom watched training videos (more fun stuff!) But it is not the same as playing outside.

I'm gonna get that groundhog!

There is a groundhog that lives under the shed next door. He always teases me and watches me through the fence and then stares at me! Then he runs under the shed and hides. Mom told me that I cannot get him as he is mean, but he doesn't look mean to me, he likes to play games!

My morning hunt

It was so nice outside this morning, and since I got Mom up early, we went out to enjoy it!! I think we should start every day this way.

Please no nails tonight

I was supposed to get my nails done tonight, I saw Gary plug in the charger. I really did not want to do nails tonight. Maybe if I pretend I am sleeping and make myself floppy so they cannot get me off the couch...


I am really good at "pretending" to be asleep. Look at how cute I can be too!

Happy Mother's Day

I was a good boy on Mother's Day. I got Mom a really cute card and a gift certificate. And then I took her to the park for a walk, I think she had fun :) It was nice out today and we walked so much we both got hot.

Rumble Roller!

Mom got a new physical therapy roller for her neck. I have been watching her use it for quite awhile. After we got home from our long day, Mom used it and I thought I would try it too. It must work as she really likes it and Grandpa used it and got one too.

I thought it felt so good I fell asleep using it!!

Rally trials

Mom and I went to some rally trials the past couple of weekends. Last weekend we even stayed in a hotel all weekend and had a lot of fun. We met some new dogs and took lots of long walks in between our runs. One of the judges misread my sheet and called me "Eagle" so everyone thought that was funny and called me Eagle all weekend. Not sure about being an Eagle, but I would point one! This weekend we only went one day, so we got up really early and drove to Medina. They changed the running order, so we got there at 7:30 and never went in the ring until 11:00. Mom kept saying we could have slept in! But we took some walks and played some games, so we had fun waiting.

We ended up with 2 more doubles Qs on our EX title, a first place, two seconds, and a fourth. We never took a picture last weekend, but Mom tried to pose me before we left yesterday. I was tired and not really into getting my picture taken!!

Oh no, my freezer is sick!

Gary woke us up this morning by running through the door and telling us the freezer was broke. There was water all over the floor in the basement. Good thing he goes down there to exercise in the morning so we caught it early. Mom and Gary carried all the little containers to the garage and put them in the freezer out there. The big containers were okay for now and the freezer was staying at a cool temperature.

I was really worried as I have a lot of good food and bones down there! But Mom said they would take care of it for me. They took off work and got dry ice and put in the freezer to keep everything cool and then went out and got a new freezer for me. They tried to have the old one fixed but no one could come right away and we can't wait!!

What a crazy day to get all of this done. We are now waiting for it to get cold so we can put all my food in it. The best thing is that when we get it fixed we will have 2 freezers so then I will have LOTS of good food and bones :)
